We've had quite an emotional two days. We encountered some confusion and communication mishaps that had both Ryan and I pretty upset yesterday. We found out that we wouldn't be able to get the dog that we were leaning toward. So we spent the day trying to decide if we would still get one or would wait for the next litter. Of course, I am ready for anything with four paws at this point, but Ryan wasn't so sure he wanted to compromise. Ultimately we came to terms with the fact that we will love any of them the same and will be happy to have a red female to call our very own. So when you're looking at the pictures take note of the girls - with yellow, light and dark green collars. They just had their temperament testing yesterday and all did well. We are in a very lucky situation in that the breeder has lots of people at the house handling the puppies on a regular basis, so they are getting a good early dose of socialization. They are getting their ears cropped on Tuesday, I think, and will be evaluated again (for showing purposes) and the breeder will choose her new breeding/showing bitch and then we can choose and take home our little girl in as little as two weeks.
Yea!
